After a trip to sea with the commercial fishermen on a 50' Salmon boat, I did this painting just a couple of days a after while the image was still fresh in my mind.

I included the safety rail with the rag wrapped around it to bring attention to the fact that hard working hands of the Salmon Fishermen use the rail to steady themselves at sea. I have never seen that in a painting to date. I like the image implication.

Although this has sold I am ready to make a commission available to someone who would like something similar for their collection or wall.
