Here is a painting inspired by the education my own parents gave to me.

I was brought up in a very large family, we were taught about God and Jesus, so my faith started to be formed at a very early age. By the time I was 4 years old I knew that I was created and loved by "God". This belief was cultivated in my childhood and it helped me, also my brothers and sisters, to deal with the struggles our parents were having. Probably us kids were a big part of the worries they had.

As a child I remember feeling the love of Jesus so strongly. We went to church almost everyday before school, our school was right across the street from the church. There we learned about the love and faithfulness of Jesus.

My childhood was often daily filled with anxiety, and fear of not adding up to my fathers expectations. He was a tall heavyweight figure of a man very strict and quite fearsome. I am sure my siblings had much of the same experience, but kids are resilient, if they are just given the chance, so we turned out to be pretty good human beings. I am grateful today to my parents (and teachers) because I was sent to church as well as good schools. There is another painting on my website site: "The Loss of Innocence" where the children depicted remind me of my own siblings. Parenting must be a very hard job, a very huge responsibility.

This lovely and simple painting is done in the expressionistic style. It's a little painting that carries a big message.

Appropriate in this time of societal difficulties, it is the inner being, I believe, of the human person, that is suffering so much inside. We have become a very violent society. As I observe, the animals seem to have more contentment and peace then we humans!

Depicted in this wonderful painting is the peace and love that the Son of God has for us all. He calms the chaos, the hurting soul, and brings joy and hope to the human spirit.
