The horse painting has been custom framed. I chose this frame because I like the visual weight of the frame, I think it is quite handsome and it brings out the colors in the central horse. Here I am expressing the power of the horse, sure of his place and seems to embody a spirit of resilience indicated by the cold and snow, if you look close you can see the warm breath of the horse in the cold air. I included his mares in the background. The haystacks are the old fashion kind, and I chose to put them in the painting because of their wonderful forms.
